Creative Table is a traveling hands-on art workshop series designed for anyone who's ever wanted to make something but wasn't sure where to start. No experience needed — just a willingness to show up and play.
Each workshop is small, relaxed, and full of genuine encouragement. You'll leave with something made by your own hands — and probably a few new friends.

Layering, Composing, and Learning.
Join us for this fun exploration of the world of gel printing using fresh and dried botanicals as your tools- leaves, stems, petals, grasses, whatever the season offers. Through a layer printing process, you will build richly textured papers- full of depth, pattern, and that unmistakable quality that makes people ask, how did you do that?
No printmaking experience necessary. The gel plate is forgiving, intuitive and endlessly surprising. This is a great introduction to printmaking! Use them as art. Frame them. Turn them into cards, journal covers, or collage material. All supplies provided. All skill levels welcome. 1 hour lunch break....bring your own or find a place in town.

Step away from plastic and into something better - wraps that breathe and the quiet satisfaction of making something useful with your own hands.
In this workshop, you will learn about recipes and sources of ingredients to make wax wraps at home. You will create wraps perfect for covering bowls, wrapping cheese, or keeping produce fresh. We source our beeswax from hives right here in our corner of the mountains.
No experience needed. All supplies are provided, and a vegan plant based wax option is available, just let us know after you register.

Inspired by the tender, textured cat portraits found in the beloved book Wabi Sabi, you will build a large collage portrait of your own pet using layered papers, found imagery, and mixed media- embracing the Japanese aesthetic of finding beauty in the imperfect, the work and the wonderfully real.
No art experience required. Just provide a few photos of your pet a week before class and spend a few hours learning how texture, color, and value create image. You will leave with a portrait of your favorite fuzzy friend.
1 hour break at lunch...bring your own or discover downtown before coming back to complete your project.

Hi, I'm Terri.
Hi, I'm Terri.
Twenty-eight years of arts education and starting my own business...turns out those worlds have everything in common — both are about showing up, staying curious, and trusting the process.
I'm a visual artist, a member of my local arts guild, and a believer that creativity belongs to everyone — not just people who went to art school. I live and work in Rabun County, and I built Creative Table to be the kind of workshop I always wished existed: warm, unpretentious, and genuinely joyful.
